In the fashion world, Fashion’s Night Out is a global shopping event originating in the U.S by Vogue magazine. Retailers across the nation host in-store shopping events and throw amazing fashion soirees all on the same night. This year, Charlotte has A LOT going on with the DNC in addition to our coveted FNO celebration, but if you aren’t into the traffic and headaches that come with the DNC, come to Belk at the Southpark mall, where the world-famous fashion holiday will be celebrated. “Fashion’s Night Out is one of the many ways Belk will showcase this season’s hottest looks now arriving in our stores,” said Arlene Goldstein, VP of trend merchandising and fashion direction for Belk. “This season you will see four key Belk Style Statements: My Fair Lady, Town and Country, Mod Modern and Vivid. So this is a perfect time to update your wardrobe with fall’s best offerings and enjoy a festive atmosphere with a special Southern style that only Belk can bring.”
On September 6th, from 6-9pm, Belk is taking the official FNO theme to new heights by bringing the best sips and bites from NYC to Charlotte. Flying in just for the night will be candy from Dylan’s Candy Bar, cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery, and the ever so famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate from Manhattan’s Serendipity 3. Plus, attendees will have a celebrity experience while walking the red carpet, located right outside the Personal Shopper’s Room, and you’ll be able to take home a photo souvenir. The first 100 guests will receive a free gift! Beauty-wise, Guests can visit the Estée Lauder counter for a free polish change, and experience Pure Color Nail Lacquer, with True Vision Technology, to transform ordinary color into extraordinary. Also, receive a free Intense Double-Ended Kajal Eye Pencil with your make-up consultation. (One per customer, while supplies last).
